Tenerife
is a pearl in the Atlantic Ocean on the height of the African coast. Tenerife is a part of the Canary Islands and, like also the other islands, from volcanic origin.

On
Tenerife there is the mountain pico Del Teide, with its 3718 m. the sea and the largest mountain of Spain.
Teide is the first impression of the
Island when approaches the island with an airplane. It is nearly all the same where one on the island you stop - then "has the Teide an eye on you". If you are lucky, the peak is snow-covered - a marvellous sight.

Most guests prefer the southern part of
Tenerife, because you can be sure the south usually has good weather. The south side gets less rain, since it is protected against the rain formation of the trade wind. The vegetation is like drought, nearly desert-well-behaved. The climate is continuous mild and always the same.

The situation of the islands in the
Atlantic ocean affects the climate the whole year around. We visited gradually Tenerife more than 10 times. We rent a car for a few days and drive off on our own hand. A good map and perhaps a few Spanish words and one are already rather well on the way. That is completely different experience of Tenerife than the arranged routes of the tour operators can give you. Then a rented car, particularly is cheaper for a family also included a few children. We want to tell with this publication of our experiences, which are mentioned only completely briefly by other media - objects of interest in the tourist guides are not called. We wish you a really good experience on Tenerife
